Childrens' cakes

As a client said after her daughter's birthday party, "We didn't know whether to eat the cake or frame it!"

The cakeboard and sides are an integral part of the design particularly because that's where most childrens' eye level rests. The colour of the sponge is also an important consideration as it adds both surprise and dimension to the cake once it is cut.
